I've been here almost 2 years. I picked Clairmont because it's close to my place of employment and they had what I needed: ... A 2 Br apartment and a garage. Maintenance has always been quick to respond. The office staff are always friendly, even when they want you to hand over your Yankees gear! The grounds are clean and the neighbors are (mostly) quiet. I have no complaints about Clairmont at Hillandale. If you need someplace located close to Duke and/or downtown Durham, without THAT price tag, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that you take a look. As a widowed senior needing to downsize and simply my life , I chose Clairmont at Hillandale. ... The location , the grounds , the well maintained buildings , the amenities , and the awesome staff are impressive . This community is truly a microcosm of the world with friendly and interesting people to meet and enjoy . In fact , the staff plans social events to encourage a sense of family and fun among the residents. One of the biggest surprises has been how quiet and peaceful it is here. Sam was incredible! She was friendly and informative. After looking at several listings in the area and speaking with many ... representatives, I can say without a doubt she was the best agent with whom I worked. The property is located near Duke and downtown Durham while nestled in a nice, quiet residential area. The rooms were newly furnished and spacious. All the appliances were energy efficient and new.
